Fear Factory la Bucuresti?

Mai intai era vorba ca vin pe 4 iulie. Dupa aia ca nu mai vin deloc. Acu vad ca e din nou anuntat la ei pe site, dar de data asta in 4 august.

Miercuri, 12 iulie ? THE COVENANT - Like Tears in yhe Rain

Covenant in concert langa Romania.

Mai exact, Covenant vor sustine un concert la Szeged (a nu se confunda cu Sziget) in cadrul unui festival ce se desfasoara acolo intre 23 si 26 august. Covenant vor canta pe 24 august iar biletul costa 14 euro pe o zi si 32 euro pentru tot festivalul.

Alte concerte din festival: Adam Freeland, Toy Dolls, The Tarantinos, Transglobal Underground.

Joi, 13 iulie ? GOGOL BORDELO ? Go Revolutions

Daca tot am pomenit de festivalul de la Szeged, era cazu sa fac o lista si pentru cel de la Sziget. In mare parte, trupele importante sunt anuntate, dar mai sunt vreo cateva locuri de umplut. Si, din cate am patit pana acum,tocmai surprizele astea pot face sa merite banii cu varf si indesat. Bineinteles, exista si varianta opusa, dar chiar daca lista ramane asa, merita pretul.

Asa ca uite lista (selectiva):

Ministry, Fear Factory, Prodigy, Placebo, Iggy and The Stooges, Therapy?, Franz Ferdinand, Scissotr Sisters, dEus, Radiohead, The Rasmus, The Gatering, Cheb Mami, Natacha Atlas, Afro celt Sound System, Cradle of Filth, Sick of it All, Cathedral, Exploited, Morbid Angel, Coldcut, The Orb, Gogol Bordelo.

Cu biletele, treaba sta asa: 107 euro pe toat festivalul (cu taxa pe cort), 89 de euro fara cort.sau 21 de euro pe zi.

ANDROID LUST

Born in Bangladesh, Android Lust auteur Shikhee has been exploring the cutting edge of desire, rage, and panic in her songs since her first independent release in 1998. Borrowing elements from diverse musical styles, Android Lust presents a blend of electronic rock that is provocative, engaging, and fiercely emotional. Shikhee has been making quite the name for herself in the indie electronic music community. Her music evolves with each release, showing a greater musical range than the plethora of unoriginal and copycat bands in the scene.
Shikhee continues this trend with Devour, Rise, and Take Flight (2006 Projekt Records), her new full length release since 2003's The Dividing. Devour, Rise, and Take Flight is an unforgiving electronic rock assault carried across twelve powerful tracks. Shikhee's commanding voice takes center stage, set against her most challenging, yet accessible songwriting to date. And in true Android Lust fashion, she saves her best hooks for her most vicious sentiments, all while taking modern electronic music even further to the edge.
"Dragonfly" the first single and video from the new album was directed by Dan Ouellette, who previously shot the critically acclaimed and visually arresting video for "Stained" (The Dividing). "Stained" received regular airplay on 33 music video shows and channels across the United States, as well as 120 Minutes on MTV Latin America, and Australia's music video show Rage. "Dragonfly" aims to do all that and more with it's stunning visuals and and alien imagery. Android Lust's songs have also appeared on CBS' "Navy NCIS" (including an on-air mention of the band's name) as well as MTV's The Real World, Road Rules, and Made.

Vineri, 4 august: Snakeskin - Waking a Lie

Snakeskin este un side-project al lui Tilo Wolf de la Lacrimosa. Pana acum nu au scos decat un singur album, "Music For The Lost". Un al doilea LP va fi lansat anul asta pe 6 octombrie.
